She’s Magic Dear Lizzy | Julie Taylor

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you today sharing 2 layouts using the lovely She’s Magic collection from Dear Lizzy. I fully over looked this collection when it first came out but it’s fabulous. The colours are so intense & just right for a funny snapchat photo to brighten up these grey March days!!

Hello

I first added my mixed media, to a piece of white cardstock, cut to 12×9 & inked & stencilled from top left to bottom right.

I added a bit of pen work, around my stencilling, to add some detail & make it stand out. I distressed the two 12 inch edges & tore 2 small areas, to give me place to add more ephemera.

I then attached the white cardstock to Dreaming paper, with a bigger border at the bottom. I then built up my two clusters at opposite sides of the page, using tags, frames, fussy cut flowers & chipboard.

My title is from the Jen Hadfield This is Family puffy copper phrase thickers, lots of great words & titles on one sheet.

Smile, Delightful Life

My second layout I decided to work on patterned paper, the B side of Kind Heart paper as it looked like the mixed media had already been done on it. I added some same colour stamping to the pink edge & then added lots of trims to separate from the rest of the layout.

I added my photo cluster on the far left & built out & down from that, adding frames, fussy cutting, chipboard, tags & word stickers.

Thanks for joining me today

until next time, happy scrapping
