Creekside Creations

Hi there x Sheena here again x
Whilst looking at the goodies in the HLM shop I saw that One Canoe two had a new range out called Creekside. Initially I wasn’t too sure it was my thing when I saw some of the canoe & boat elements but I loved the colour palette of this Creekside range so decided to go for it & Im so glad I did.
Wellies aren’t meant to stay clean!

For my first layout I cut the Up the Creek paper to 9×12 then cut my title from it using my silhouette cameo. I used papers from the Creekside 6×6 pad to back the words then outlined any that didn’t stand out enough.

The photo are of the feet of my Daughter & her friends at a recent festival & when I saw this phrase on Pinterest I knew they would be perfect together. As the title takes up lots of room I’ve layered papers behind the photo with wood circles from the Creekside Rings and Circles paper, some stickers  plus some die cut mud splats!

For my next page I wanted to fussy cut some of the flowers from the Creekside Chicory paper. The Creekside Itinerant paper makes a lovely background for outside photos.

My daughters friend took this photo of her & I knew I wanted to scrap it but keep it as the main focus & by adding the fussy cut flowers I think Ive achieved the look I was aiming for. The title is from the sticker sheet so to introduce more gold I added a few splats to the background and gave the flowers gold centres using Nuvo drops.

For my final page this month I wanted to use one of the speciality papers that only appear in the 12×12 pad. This blue paper has a shiny embossed texture which is gorgeous in real life but makes it quite difficult to photograph!
I’d be lost without you.

The photo was a selfie taken on a road trip with my Daughter. I went through the Creekside 6×6 pads & picked out all the papers I liked and then layered them behind the photo.

I decided to see how this speciality paper held up to some mixed media so I added some ink using the packaging technique, some texture paste through a stencil then stuck it in the sewing machine.  After all that it only warped a little. Under the photo I added some stamping using the Creekside roller stamp for more interest. The words are all from the sticker pack

I really recommend you check out this One Canoe Two, Creekside range as its perfect for a wider range of scrapping than its title suggests x
Till next time x
