Scrapping The Everyday with Pinkfresh Studio

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing two layouts using the lovely new collection from Pinkfresh Studio ‘Everyday Musings’ beautiful spring like collection with muted colours of pink, green, blue & gold.

For my first layout I chose to use a larger photo, than normal, & added it, on the right of some Vicki Boutin mixed media paper, to which I’d added some texture paste & smooched some ink over. I then wanted to add some texture so added some embossed vellum & stitched some tulle over the top on the left hand side. I then glued all my embellishments on the top of that, chipboard frames, die cut ephemera & a layered sticker heart. my title came from the Joyful Day Puffy Phrase stickers.

Bright Happy Days

My second layout I started by adding a few stamped & stencilled images to the bottom half of the paper, I then free cut & punched two strips of scollopes & sewed them to the centre of my page with some gauze, underneath to add some texture. I got some different tea bag tags & hung them, from the scollops adding some fussy tea cups on the top.

I added my photo, on a mat of papers, on the top of the scollops & used a journalling pocket at the side to add some embellishment clusters to, a few puffy stickers & another layered sticker heart finished the layout.

Thanks for joining me today, until next time
