Scenic View – 49 And Market – Vintage Artistry Everywhere – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here and I’m sharing my first layout this month and I’m still using 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Everywhere Collection. It really is a collection that just keeps on giving and is so perfect for my San Francisco holiday photos which  I’m just tarting to scrap.

I chose to use the 12×12 In the Deep paper as my background as my photo was focused on water and boats and the design on the paper was similar themed. I wanted to make my photo the centre focus of the layout and adhered it to one of the pieces from the cluster kit to look like it was stuck in a book. I then added a few more pieces from the kit behind it and build up the photo mat. I created a small cluster to the bottom left of the photo using one of Sarah’s amazing co ordination flair badges and some smaller pieces of ephemera from the cluster kit.

To the right of the photo I used the chipboard globe and frame and added the binoculars and chipboard camera . All these elements also came from the cluster kit. I added the ‘amazing ‘ bunting and vacation sign to the photo.

As always unable to leave empty space I decided to create two clusters, one above and one below the photo. For the top one, again I used pieces from the cluster kit and also a geo tag from the chipboard geotag set. I raised different pieces on sticky fixers giving more dimension top the layout.

For the bottom one I did exactly the same but also used a thin strip from the 6×8  paper collection pack.

I love how this layout turned out and find all the elements from the collection just coordinate so well together . Do take a look over at the Hey Little Magpie website if you’ve not been tempted already.
