SAY CHEESE MAIN STREET – SIMPLE STORIES – PART 2 – WENDY MEFFAN

Hi everyone!, time is   flying by and I’m back on the blog sharing two more layouts using Simple Stories Say Cheese Main Street Collection. As I said before this collection has a feel good factor to it and it made me smile creating my LO, whilst remembering what a great holiday we had.

I used the Basics kit as a base for this LO and created the pattern based on previous papers which have had this design.I matted the edges of each piece. I  then matted my photo with a 3×4 card from the elements paper. I chose the disney castle 3×4 card from the elements sheet layered it with another plain one behind. To give some dimension I raised it on foam pads and matted the edges.

I added some words from the sticker sheet, a decorative brad and the bunting from the card stock sticker sheet. To the right of the photos I attached the card stock sticker of the buildings from main street, ( you pass by them before reaching the castle!) and a few more word stickers and another brad along with the balloons.

In the top left corner I added the Happy Place banner as a title and then added the refreshments chipboard stickers into the curve. I added a fine black line around the edge of the LO .

 

LAYOUT 2

For this LO I used the 12×12 Happy Magic Memories paper and added a border from the 12×12 Magical paper. As I had a single photo I used some of the 3×4 cards from the elements paper either side to create a design across the page, again I matted the edges of the cards..

I tucked in the card stock disney castle sticker behind the photo and then added a few firework stickers at the top of the castle. I raised them on foam pads. I also added a label to the side of the 3×4 card on the right.

I used some more word phrases from the sticker sheet and a brad under the picture to bring the design down the page.

Above the photo to the left I added the good times pennant from the card stock sticker sheet and then wrote some journalling around it. I used a couple more brads for decoration.

These two layouts were fun to make and were easy to embellish with this collection. It is well suited to use with most disney photos and has a wide variety of embellishments which go well with the Disney theme.
