Saturday by Dear Lizzy

Hi!

There are news in the shop!!!! I just love it when new collections comes in… it’s so fun and great for inspiration to have some new goodies to play with!
The new collection from Dear Lizzy caught my eyes right away! I loved the patterns and the all the very versitile bits and pieces. Like the black foil stickers! You even get two of each sheet! And another favorite is the multicolor chipboard phrase thickers, great colors and great phrases!
I didn’t get the ephemera pack and felt a bit scared… I always use ephemera packs on layouts! What if I didn’t have enough decorations!?!?! I had plenty… and I still have plenty left! My biggest regret is that I didn’t buy any thickers. There are two great thickers… and I will go and buy them now! 😀

Today

The papers are absolutely  stunning! So many great patterns and I wanted to use a lot of patterns on the same layout. This is based on my favorite sketch and I really like how it turned out!
The woodgrain in the background is from another new collection, Cute Girl from Crate Paper. A blog post without woodgrain wouldn’t be me! 😀
The title is from the chipboard phrase sheet and also some of the decorations. I also used some washi from the washi sticker book.

Pappataxi

We don’t have yellow taxis in Sweden. But taxi is called “taxi” in Sweden too… and the small sign on the top of the car says taxi… so I think it works for a Swedish layout too! When my husband carries our daughter on his shoulders he calls it “Pappataxi” (Daddy taxi)! So I made a layout about that… and matched it with the yellow taxis! Perfect! 😀
I love the paper with the houses and I also love that some of the papers has great designs on that last strip at the bottom. Like the one I used on the bottom of this page.
I didn’t have any thickers from Saturday… but I had some old ones from Dear Lizzy!

Körsbär

For my last layout I wanted to make something different. I took some die cut leaves in gold (made with a die from Maggie Holmes) and matched it with the flowers on the sticker sheet and some gold thickers from Maggie Holmes. I also used more of those black foil stickers! They look good everywhere!
The result is a very clean and feminine layout about my daughter covered in juice from cherries!
