Round Trip Travel Mini Album | Jo Boland
Hey, it’s Jo back from my holiday and with my completed travel mini album. I’ve used the Maggie Holmes – Round Trip collection for this album. I love the vintage vibe and the muted colour palette, it’s right up my street. You can find the first blog post where I tell you how I made this album here. There’s a process video for how I made the album on the HLM YouTube channel here. and you can find a new flip through video of the completed album below.
‘Round Trip’ supplies
In the first blog post I list the papers I used for the album, including the two cut a part papers, plus the 12×12 chipboard stickers and the stationary pack. At that stage the other embellishments hadn’t arrived in the shop so I was going to make do with what I had. However, the other embellishments didn’t take too long to come in so I ordered the puffy stickers, the cardstock stickers and the enamel dots and an extra paper called Voyage.
Putting the album together
I used the PicFrame App on my phone to create collages and sent them to print on my Canon Selphy. Each 4×6 print has between 2 and 6 photos on it, which meant I managed to fit about 140 photos into my album. I could definitely have fitted more in the pockets if I’d wanted or needed to. The album is a great design in that it allows lots of photos and ephemera, like tickets and boarding cards to be added inside. I could have added more pages too, but only needed to add 1 extra in the end. I did this simply by tucking another folded page under one of the spine strings (see the flip through video).
Mini Album Flip-through
Here’s a few of the pages from the album. You can view all the pages in the YouTube video, link below.
There’s so much packed into this little album that I thought it would be useful to film a flip through of the full album. You can watch it on the Hey Little Magpie YouTube channel and also on my YouTube channel, link at the end.
Off on holiday this year? You can find the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Round Trip collection here and all the travel collections here.
