Rosie’s Studio mix up | Julie Taylor
Hello Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing a layout using a mix up of the gorgeous Rosie’s Studio collections. These are a newer acquisition to Hey Little Magpie. Lots to choose from & quite a bit cheaper than other papers & embellishments but don’t let that put you off as the quality is definitely on par!!!
Adorable Kiddo
I first cut some different sized circles, out the Lucky Me 12×12 paper pack & laid them onto my white background cardstock. I often do this to give me a guide to where I need add my mixed media. I take a quick screenshot, on my phone, for future reference. I then added some Kitsch Flamingo oxide ink, through a circle stencil, to 4 areas & added splatters, in the same colour plus some Cracked Pistachio, to match the green on some of the papers.
I adhered my photos, back in there original position (referring to the photo on my phone) & then set about embellishing each circle.
I added cork embellishments from Clover lane collection & that lovely ‘Heart these moments’ from JD3D Print embellishment. A dimensional embellishment from the Field Notes collection & the cute bunny from the Clover Lane die cut shapes.
My title comes from the Field Notes puffy stickers & the bird & clover leaves from Clover Lane die cut shapes.
I’ve zig zagged my embellishment clusters down the page so your eye travels as though you’re reading from left to right. I added one of the exclusive flair badges, Hearts bold, & finished my page, at the bottom with another cute rabbit sitting in the grass. A couple more small JD3D hearts & a bit of hand stitching added the finishing touches.
Thank you for joining me today & I do hope you’ll pop over, to the store, & check out the Rosie’s Studio collections, perfect for all aspects of scrapping.
Until next time
