Hello Magpies

I’ve been playing with the Vicki Boutin collection, Where to Next again. I just love this collection!!!! the colours, icons, words go perfectly with lots of subjects, not just travel.

This layout is about travel but not in the conventional way, more a transport way!! I started by adding the street map stencil to some cut down white cardstock. This stencil is out my stash but there’s a stampers anonymous Metropolis one in the store that would work. I’ve used a mix of oxide inks to get the different colours & then outlined in grey fine liner pen to make it stand out.

I tore the bottom edge, added another torn piece from the 6×8 paper pad & adhered it all to the B side of the 4×6 12×12 sheet, adding that pop of black & a few splatters from the Cosmic watercolor set, they show up fab on the black!!!

I made 2 photo clusters, adding one top left & the other bottom right, tucking in all the ephemera in & around the photos. How adorable is that parking metre chipboard piece!!! it’s like Vicki Boutin is inside my head & knowing what I’m scrapping!!! :):):)

I’ve ‘tied’ the 2 photos together by adding the title across the middle.

I’ve added lots of exclusives available in the store, Flair, Fabric Labels & JD3D wood pieces which all enhance to the texture of my page. I found the green scooter, in my stash, which was just perfect & had to be added!!!
