Simple Stories told with Reset Girl.

Hi there, Sheena here again.
This month I was totally bowled over by the colours and ephemera in the Simple Stories Reset Girl range. In this range they also have planners & stickers plus smaller die cut pieces all really cute and perfect for scrapbooking with too.

The embellishments and Reset Girl die cuts featuring classy ladies were the inspiration for using a vintage photo on this page. The photo features my Husbands Grandparents looking totally dapper. I added a piece of dress making pattern paper & instructions to all the layering to continue the theme. My journaling is on a pull out tab behind the photo.

I mixed 3 types of letters together to form this title, letters from the 6×12 chipboard, little stickers & a die cut word.

For this page I wanted to record the cross stitch pictures my Mum made when each of my children were born, so it seemed only right to hand stitch the title straight onto the cardstock using floss in complimentary colours.

I layered the 3 small photos with patterned papers from the 6×6 pad down either side of the title before adding chipboard embellishments and Reset Girl Bradz.
Stitch.

For my final page I continued the creative theme, this time focusing on some old wooden cotton reels I inherited from my Mother in Law recently. I kept with the circular theme using both 12×12 & 6×6 Reset Girl papers. I added stitched circles, brad & flair too.

To add a touch of gold to my title I used the Minc Toner pen to colour the needle before passing through the Minc with gold foil.
