Remember Ronda Scrap Book Layout – Bea Valint Sketchbook and Smiles for Miles – Wendy Meffan

I have used American Crafts Bea Valint Smiles for Miles and Sketchbook  collections combined for my layout and have further embellished using the April Embellishment Kit. The papers worked perfectly for our visit to Ronda in Southern Spain.

I used some long vertical patterned paper strips from the collection over to the left side of my 12 x12 white card stock and built up the layout across the page. I matted the photo and added tags and paper ephemera behind it. I raised different elements on foam dots to bring dimension to the layout. I added a long piece of floral braid from the embellishment kit between the long vertical strips. I tucked in some woven flowers from the  embellishment kit around the  tags and photo. I then attached a gorgeous heart charm from the collection.

I mirrored below the photo with more tags and another floral cluster almost copying what was above, I added a word phrase and the wooden Hello Sunshine from the embellishment kit.

I moved further across the page adding more embellishments and ephemera and then a large chipboard tag from the collection.  Again I created another floral cluster using the embellishment kit.

I love how this layout turned out using all the pastel shades and it seem to fit the calm beauty of Ronda.
