Rainbows Of Hope | Picnic In The Park – Amy Tangerine | Amy Kattenbelt
Good Morning Magpies, I am sharing a rainbow themed layout today using the stunning Picnic In The Park collection by Amy Tangerine. If you haven’t already looked at this collection , do check it out as its so versatile for many scrapbooking themes. I especially love all the rainbows and cameras.
Rainbows Of Hope
For my layout I started with a piece of Aloha Leilani 12×12 paper, which features this fabulous bold rainbow pattern. I cut it in half vertically and used my sewing machine to stitch it to a piece of American Crafts black textured 12×12 cardstock. My photo is of my younger 2 sons painting rainbows to display in our windows. I matted this photo with smooth white cardstock.
Because the rainbow paper is so bold I didn’t feel the need to add too much to the layout. I created the title using the Thickers from the Picnic In The Park Collection and another older Thicker pack from my stash. I created a cluster at the bottom right of my photo, using a rainbow glittery circular die cut and the pink ‘thank you’ die cut, both from the Ephemera pack. I also added a black camera that I fussy cut from a piece of the Photo Shoot patterned paper.
To balance out this cluster, I added a rainbow paper bow to the top left hand corner of my photo.
I finished the layout by adding the date in some old Tim Holtz alpha stickers and the gorgeous rainbow hearts sticker from the Picnic In The Park 6×12 cardstock stickers.
Thanks for taking the time to take a closer look at my rainbow layout. I will be back next month sharing even more layouts created with this colourful collection.
Stay safe and take care,
