Puerto Cabopino – Obed Marshall – Especial – Wendy Meffan
Hi Everyone! it’s Wendy here again with another Summer layout using American Crafts Obed Marshall Especial Collection. This bright and vibrant collection has so many colours and for this layout I have chosen to use the pink, yellow and orange colours from the collection.
I chose to use the 12×12 Together paper with the stringed lights across it as our photo was taken as the sun was setting. I tore off the top third to use as a solid colour block across the top of the layout. I then used a Vicki Boutin and a Bramblefox Stencil to create a back ground for the layout. I used fossilised amber and dried marigold distress oxides. I punched a hole at each end of the Together paper and attached an eyelet and then ran waxed string through it. I added a few sequins along it. I had previously cut up the 12×12 Shine bright cut apart sheet and used two of the tags and attached them to the right hand end. I added an acrylic flower shape and a flower from the Icon ephemera.
From the chipboard sheet I used the film strip piece and placed the photo over the top, I fussy cut the banner and used more of the icon ephemera and another acrylic shape above the photo.
Below the photo I used a large tag I cut from the 12×12 I cut from the 12×12 Shine bright paper. I added more ephemera and the acrylic camera.
To the left of the tag I attached a large flower from the ephemera and the capture banner from the 12×12 Unique paper. I then added the chipboard Love You to the photo, along with an acrylic star.
To finish off I used two different sets of thickers for the Puerto Cabopino title at the bottom of the page. For each piece from the cut apart sheets I distressed all the edges and raised them on sticky fixers.
I hope you will take inspiration from this layout and be tempted to use a Spanish Collection, I translated all the phrase to ensure the words were fitting for the layout!
