Project Life with Life is Beautiful

This month I chose to play with the new collection from Fancy Pants ‘Life is Beautiful’ and use it to create some Project Life spreads. It’s one of three new releases from Fancy Pants, the others being Millie & June and Good Fellows.

Life is Beautiful has a lovely mix of summery colours, blacks and whites, and my favourite, wood grain. The die-cut ephemera and tags packs are really gorgeous and full to the brim, I was really impressed with them both.
 
I also used the chipboard alphabet (which also has numbers), puffy accent stickers and puffy dot stickers along with some of the 12×12 papers (detailed later) and the 6×6 paper pack. In addition to the Fancy Pants ‘Life is Beautiful’ products I also used Becky Higgins Project Life Design A page protectors, Project Life corner rounder punch and Herma repositional adhesive. Details of anything else will be listed with each spread.
Spread One – Week 20

For this spread I used the pretty text 12×12 Bird Song Paper cut into 4×6 inserts and combined them with the lovely 12×12 woodgrain paper Porch Swing and I used a pink stripe paper for the header insert from the 6×6 paper pack. The header insert is embellished with a white doily by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, a gorgeous puffy mason jar sticker by Me & My Big Ideas, a tag from the Life is Beautiful tag pack and chipboard alphabet stickers. I used some 3×4 Project Life Ledger Journaling Cards from my stash and embellished the inserts with puffy stickers and die-cut ephemera from the Life is Beautiful collection.

Spread Two – Week 21

For this spread I used more of the Bird Song 12×12 paper, this time the black polka dot on white B-side, more woodgrain Porch Swing paper and Save the Date 12×12 paper. The spread features die-cut ephemera, tags, puffy accent stickers, puffy dot stickers and a chipboard letter, all from the Life is Beautiful collection. The journaling spots are the B-side of the pink stripe 12×12 paper Sweet Summer cut down. I’ve used an M turned upside down for the W, something I often do with alphabet stickers to make them stretch further.
  

Spread Three – Week 24

This spread uses both sides of the Sweet Summer 12×12 paper, the B-side of the 12×12 Chill paper and the blue Cactus Bloom paper from the 6×6 paper pack. Again all of the embellishments are from the collection too.

This week was our first full week with our newest family member Murphy, a Cocker Spaniel puppy. He’s been keeping me busy these last 4 weeks!

Life is Beautiful really is a beautiful collection and it’s been a joy to create with.
