Pinkfresh Studios | Spring Vibes Part 2 | Giselle Homer

Hello again Magpies,

Today I have the second of three layouts to show you, using Pinkfresh Studio’s Spring Vibes collection.

REMEMBER THIS MOMENT

I started this layout by stamping a little background pattern in pale green ink, across the centre of the page.

Then I cut some hexagon shapes approximately 1.5″ across & arranged them on the right of the page. I added a thin border line to each of them. After backing my photo with two papers, I placed it next to the hexagons.

I tore a 10″ strip of  See The Good paper & glued it below the photo. On top of that I added a length of Ric Rac trim, something I haven’t used for a long time, so I thought I’d revive it!

Using a selection of die cuts from the  floral ephemera pack & some word stickers, I created a large flower cluster on the right of the hexagons.

I found a phrase in the title ephemera pack that suited my photo & as it was quite pale, I fussy cut a background for it to help it stand out more. I finished the page by adding some  splatters of white acrylic gesso over the design.

If you have some spring themed photos to scrapbook, this would be a good collection to choose. And don’t forget to share your layouts with us all on our Facebook page!

Until later in the month, happy scrapping everyone!
