Hi again Magpies,

I have two new layouts to share today, both using a sweet new collection from Pinkfresh Studios ‘My Favorite Story’. It’s a pretty blend of pastel pink, green, yellow and blue but with a touch of black for contrast.

For my first layout I started by cutting the two rainbow shapes from the Joyful Heart paper, turned them around and glued them to a white background to make a new shape. I wanted to place my photo where the two rainbows meet in order to create a focal point.

I covered the lower quarter of the background with the pale green pattern paper. I layered a piece of white cardstock behind the photo

and added a tag on the left before sticking it down. I tucked a phrase die cut piece under the right side of the photo.

Then it was just a case of finding and arranging all those lovely flower die cuts on either side. There are so many to choose from!

I added a tag below the photo and another on the right side tucked under the flowers. I used this one for my journalling.

I placed my title on the left rainbow following the shape and added another chipboard flair next to it.

My second layout uses the striped black and white paper as a background. I started by die cutting an outlined hexagon shape on my Silhouette which I back filled with some of the papers. I added three plain white hexagons to make the overall shape fit better on the background. I drew a thin gold line along the inside edge of the plain hexagons.
