Pinkfresh Studio – Keeping It Real | Jackie Ashton
Hi crafter, hope you are enjoying this lovely weather we are currently having in the UK. I’m keeping my fingers cross that it stays around for a while.
I’m back sharing two 9” x 12” layouts using Pinkfresh Studio – Keeping It Real collection.
I’m still working my way through some lockdown layouts, and wanted to document one of our walks during this time, around a local park.
Go with the Flow
I wanted to use up some of the die-cuts, stickers and puffy stickers.
After layering a few patterned papers at the bottom of my cardstock, I selection various die-cuts, stickers and puffy stickers that were suitable for my photograph and the current time.
I didn’t use a title for this page, but felt that the cut-apart sheet wording worked perfectly for the photograph.
Love This
Again I created a 9” x 12” layout, this layout is for my Summer 2020 album which is 12” x 12” but as it was during Covid times I decided to add this size to my album.
After cutting my cardstock down to size, I cut a piece of Daily Grind paper down to 8” x 9” – then cut in diagonally to fit at the top left of the cardstock. Then I cut the same from Tiny Victories paper, but cut the diagonal on the opposite way to add to the right hand side of the cardstock.
Before adding these pieces to my cardstock, I added some ink splatters to the middle/lower part of the cardstock.
I added the patterned papers to the top and added some machine stitching to the edges, to give some additional texture.
Under my photograph I added a few sheets from the 6” x 6” paper pad and distressed the edges.
The ice cream journalling card from the cut-apart sheets was perfect for this photograph, which I distressed the edges and added some pattered paper behind. Once these were in place it was time to embellish the page, which I did using die-cuts, stickers, puffy stickers from this range.
For the title, I used a phase from the Puffy Phase Stickers Sheet.
I loved working with this collection and would love to see your layouts over in our Facebook group using the same collection.
Don’t forget that you still have two weeks to join in with this month challenge, set by me – you can find full details here or over on our Facebook group.
