Pinkfresh Studio – Indigo Hills
Another cracking collection from Pinkfresh Studios which catches the current vibe for the water-coloured look spot on. Lovely washed out hues of pastel shades along with sultry greys. The perfect combination. Many of the patterned papers can be used straight up as back drops to which you can add your own colour swooshes and paint splatters.
This layout just features one small photo layered up to the hilt onto Sierra with a few fussy cut flowers from Moorland . The Sierra patterned paper is versatile in that you can orient it any way and then just lay down your photos and papers straight onto it. The splattered look can be enhanced with your own spray paints to tie in with your photo colours if needs be. I used Heidi Swapp’s Colour Shine Spritz in gold – an all time favourite.
I stamped a strip of phrases in grey ink down the centre of the page in grey to complement the grey in the patterned paper, where they sit quite happily , looking as if they belonged ! The fussy cut flowers ( although not so fussy as I’d lost my glasses at this point ) are layered up onto foam pads to give a bit of dimension.
Next up is a sunset photo of my youngest which I love , reprinted several times then matted onto white card stock and re-assembled.
I layered a couple of die cut frames and an acetate frame underneath to tie in with the silhouette photo. Just a couple of embellishments needed – a wooden clip and a phrase from the puffy stickers pack.
The bottom right cluster mimics it with another couple of die cut frames, a smaller acetate frame and I stamped the title using the Pinkfresh Studio stamp set – Sweet Moment straight onto a mini version of the main photo . A simple cluster of 3 of the puffy stickers completes the look …. oh and some more of my beloved Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spritz in gold to tie in with the golden sunset. This whole layout is assembled onto a sheet of Knoll patterned paper . This paper is fabulous – just throw a bunch of stuff onto it and it will look gorgeous – job done.
Lastly another fabulous sheet from the Indigo Hills collection – Blue Valley ( yes … no blue here … I used the flip side ) onto which I stamped, spritzed and stencilled to my heart’s content . I spliced into a few offcuts from the rest of the collection in complementary pinks to layer up a mish mash of patterns and smooched a few smears of pink paint onto the top right corner to complement the pinks in the photo. Apologies for the greyness of these photos – the sun would not oblige !
