Pink Paislee – Lucky Us | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
Today I’m sharing with you 2 more layouts created using Pink Paislee’s Lucky Us range. This range is essentially a Valentine range & has lots of potential uses. In my last post I embraced the Pink in this range but for this post I’ve added in some of the colour it also contains.
For You.
In this range there are a number of sweet shaped stickers & die cuts so I thought I’d showcase them all together with my love of sweet treats. I’m also a sucker for a nice tin so the sweets pictured were a perfect gift for me!!
I masked off a heart shape on cardstock & inked it a pale pink. I then hand sewed a border around it using embroidery floss.
I filled the heart with die cuts, stickers, chipboard and stamped hearts around my photograph until it was full, then added some tiny hearts in any spaces left. I used some of the hearts from Lucky Us paper #4 along the top and bottom of the page just attaching them with machine stitching so that overlapped.
You are my Lucky Charm.
For my second page I pulled in the green that appears in this Lucky Me range. I loved the die cuts referencing luck & I wanted to use them with a photo of my Daughter as she has a lucky birthday – St Patricks Day.
I added some pale pink to the cardstock base using both the packaging technique and a heart stencil. Once it was dry I used distressed strips of a selection of Lucky Me patterned papers from the 6×8 pad to back my matted photo. Then added ephemera diagonally around the photo adding extra clover leaves punched from cardstock.
I hope these inspire you to use the Lucky Us range by Pink Paislee. Please hop on over to our FB group for plenty of chat and inspiration .
Till next time x
