Pink Paislee And Many More | Jo Boland

Hey there. It’s Jo here with a look at the Pink Paislee collection ‘And Many More’, a lovely birthday collection. This collection is full of beautiful papers and cut apart sheets and sweet embellishments. It is the perfect collection for making birthday cards, so that’s what I did for this blog post. What I also love is that there are some great papers for fussy cutting. This means it’s really cheap and easy to create lots of card toppers!

Where to start? What a lovely collection this ‘And Many More’ is, it was really easy to get inspired and create lots of cards.

Card Set 1 – Shaker Balloons & Bunting

Well, let’s take a look at three cards I made using Paper 07 and the shaker balloons from the Layered Stickers pack. So simple, just a piece of 3.5×3.5″ paper with distressed edges adhered to a 4×4″ kraft card blank. A shaker balloon stuck on top, a string line drawn on in black pen and a sentiment sticker in the bottom corner.

In addition to the products from this collection I used some sentiment stickers from a Jen Hadfield ‘Hey Hello’ collection I had in my stash. These are sold out now in the Hey Little Magpie store, but I’m sure if you’re a card maker then you may have these or something similar in your stash.

Card Set 2 – Floral Paper 06

For this set I used that gorgeous Paper 06, some vellum (or tracing paper) and a mix of layered stickers, a puffy stickers and fussy cut presents from Paper 10. I added foam pads underneath the sentiment stickers and the top of the fussy cut presents.

Card Set 3 – Birthday Candles

For this set I used Paper 02. The first card has a tag cut from Paper 04 and a layered cake sticker. Card two has a cake cut from Paper 08 and card three has a card cut from the cut a part Paper 01.

Card Set 4 – Cake Stands and Polka Dots

This set is made from Paper 08, which has the most gorgeous green and blue polka dots on one side and lots of pictures of cake stands on the over. I ordered two of this paper because I loved both sides. I simply cut around the coloured ovals of the cake stand drawings and popped them up on foam pads. Card 3 has a gold puffy heart from the Jen Hadfield ‘The Avenue’ collection that I had in my stash. For card 4 in this set has a cute ‘eat more cake’ puffy sticker as the topper instead.

Card Set 5 – A6 sized cards

I wanted to use a larger card from the cut a part Paper 01 ‘You don’t look a day over fabulous’ which I matted on a piece of Paper 03 and added a matching layered sticker. I trimmed the white from around the edges of the layered sticker to make it look nicer.

The second card has Paper 06 on the bottom, Paper 11 on the top and a branding strip from Paper 07 across the join. I fussy cut some presents from Paper 10 for the card topper. Popped them up on foam pads and added a sentiment sticker on the bottom.

Card Set 6 – Love You

With Valentine’s Day this weekend, I made his and her Valentine’s cards. 3.5×3.5″ paper and the sentiment popped up on foam pads in the centre, with a gold heart to the side. Super easy and really sweet.

Card Set 7 – Hello, I miss your face

The final set uses the same base, just with different sentiments from the Jen Hadfield sticker set. These are perfect for sending to friends I’ve not seen in ages due to the pandemic. Cards don’t need to be completed to be cute.

I hope I’ve inspired you to make your own cards. You can find the Pink Paislee ‘And Many More’ collection in the Hey Little Magpie store here.
