Pink Fresh Studio – Some Days | Jackie Ashton
Hi crafters, Jackie here with my first blogpost for April. This month, I’m using the lovely collection from Pink Fresh Studio – Some Days, and I’m creating them as a 9×12 format as they will be going into the ‘Lockdown’ album.
As I’ve not worked on the album in a while it was a perfect opportunity to get some pages documented.
Daily Walk
Cut my white cardstock to 9×12 and using stamps from my stash, I stamped on my cardstock towards the top and middle of the page.
I made a collage of 4 photographs of one of the many walks we did last year, and printed it as 4×4, backing my photograph with patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, which I distressed the edges.
I added the tag to my page then overlapped my photograph.
To finish the layout I added ephemera, chipboard flairs, stickers.
I used one of the tags from the Journalling bit pack, as a base for the title, using Puffy Alpha Stickers – Blue.
Lets go to the Movies
I cut a piece of the lovely graphic design from Turning Circles, and adding some machine stitching down one edge.
I printed my photograph at 3×4 and using Elle’s Studio Layered Card Metal Die set, I used 2 die of the dies from this set and cut then from the 6×6 pad to add a decorative edge to my layers behind my photograph. I’m loving these dies, as they give your layers some added details behind my photograph.
Again I used one of the envelopes from the Journalling bit pack, and added it behind my photograph. You can see the decorative edges on the photo below.
Using bits and pieces from the ephemera pack, sticker sheet, chipboard flairs.
For the title I used a mixture of the mini alphabet and the puffy alphabet stickers in Green.
This collection is lovely with the mixture of patterns and graphic designs. It as helped me to get some more pages documented for my Lockdown album.
Looking forward to sharing a few more layouts using this collection later this month.
Don’t forget to share your layouts over on our Facebook page we would love to see them.
Till next time
Happy scrapping
