Pink Fresh Studio – Some Days | Jackie Ashton

Hi crafter, Jackie here again with my 2nd blogpost of the month using Pink Fresh Studio – Some Days

Both these layouts are 9×12 for my Lockdown album, which I will share at a later date.

So lets get started.

Carbucks

My first layout, is documenting having a coffee meet up during restrictions. As me and Julie wasn’t allowed to meet in person, we grabbed a coffee and sat in our own cars and had a catch up, it was lovely to get out and have a good natter.

To start my page, I added some stencil detail to the background, and and per usual most of it gets covered over, bu you can still see some at the top. I also added ‘coffee stain’ stamps and ‘coffee’ stamp phases from my stash.

I wanted to add some hidden journalling to my page, so I used one the Journalling bits envelope, and added my journalling to the back of the cut- a – part sheet – and made it into a tag shape and added some twine.

Behind my photographs I added patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, distressing the edges to add some extra details.

I added the pocket to my page and then added my photographs slightly overlapping them.

Then I finished my layout used die cuts, stickers, puffy stickers, labels from the collection.

For the title I used Puffy Alphabet Stickers – Green.

For my 2nd layout I decided to use this months challenge, which is set by Amy.

I went for the middle row – torn paper, Aqua and 3+ photos

I started my layout by using the b-side of Count in Down, cutting it down to 6×8 and tearing the bottom edge. Then I choose a few papers from the 6×6 pad and tore the bottom edge of one.

To add the 3 photographs to my layout, I made a collage on a 6×4 and cut it down to include a thin border. I also added 3D foam to the back of my photograph to add some additional dimension.

Then I went through the collection and found all the teal colours embellishments that would work with my layout.
