Pink Fresh Office Hours | Morag Cutts

Hi Magpies. I have been playing with the totally gorgeous Office Hours from Pink Fresh Studio this month. You know that they always have stunning thick cardstock, pretty colours and adorable images.

For my first layout I used the Prioritize cardstock as my backgroud – it’s simply too good to cut up!  I love the words in the ephemera pack. I handstitched along the grid to link to the words to draw the eye across the page.

The B side of Organize paper is an ombre pattern. I punched out stars in each colour and organised them in the same order as the original paper – I love the effect of tone on tone.

Daily Grind

I’m lucky enough to work from home nowadays. I built an office in the garden last year – it’s a great workspace (although I’ve obviously run out of space already).

I loved the ombre stars so much from my first layout, I went ahead and punched out stars from the rest of the Organize paper to create an ombre wreath.

To make the wreath, I drew around a plate as a template. I then used Distress Oxide Ink (Squeezed Lemonade) to lay a little colour down under the wreath.

Having punched out the stars, I arranged them by colour around the cirlce. Some are raised on foam tape for dimension.

I tucked in Puffy Stickers, Phrase Stickers fussy cut pieces from Inspiration paper.

To add dimension to my photo, I layered up more ephemera pieces and cards cut out of the Busy paper.

I have another two layouts from this amazing collection to share later in the month. In the meantime, I hope I have inspired you to create.
