Picture Perfect | Celes Gonzalo Rainbow Avenue | Emma Kate

Hello magpies, my layout is all about the rainbow vibes thanks to the beautiful Rainbow Avenue collection & the patterned paper Rainbow Avenue. It’s so pretty that I didn’t want to change it but I decided to add some texture by cutting it into strips, distressing the edges, then machine stitching the strips back onto white cardstock, in rainbow order of course.

I love adding these extra little details & the little pops of white coming through the background really adds depth to my page. Next I used the floral ephemera both tucked behind & on top of my photo in opposite corners, to create a diagonal which helps the eye move across my photo making it centre stage.

Using the foam alphabet thickers I added my title, splitting it in half, ‘picture’ at the top, & ‘perfect’ to add balance to my layout. I chose ‘picture perfect’ because it was one of those moments where we happened to be in the right place at the right time.

To finish, as always, I added a bit of sparkle with some gems & sequins. If you love colour in your scrapbooking I cannot recommend this collection enough!
