Pick a Card Scrapbook Layout – Simple Stories – Game Night Collection – Wendy Meffan

It’s Wendy  here and I have created this vibrant scrapbook layout using @simplestories Game Night Collection. I have created the  lovely sunburst background using the Hey Little Magpie Sunburst stencil.

As my photos were based around a card game I used a large stripe of the 12x 12 Deal with is paper. I then used all the corresponding distress oxides through the Hey Little Magpie Sunburst stencil behind it. I used a fine line pen to outline as well.

I used several tags from the collection and tucked them above and below the central stripe of paper. I added waxed string and a few extra Bits and Pieces embellishments. I also created a border to the layout again using a fine line pen and drawing the four symbols from the cards within the lines.

Finally i added a couple of extra tag pieces along the sids of the layout and then used black splatters over the top.
