PFS More Happy Blooms | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there magpies, Sheena here again.
Today I’m sharing with you 2 more layouts created using Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms collection. I really love the colours used in this range and focused on them for these layouts.
I was really taken with the lilac & purple tones in this range and remembered I had these photos taken a few years ago at a Lavender Farm. I teamed the lilac with yellow using paint and a dry brush to make my background on white cardstock. After tearing one edge of the cardstock I machine sewed it to the Happy Blooms – Garden paper.
Using a few tags from the Happy Blooms journaling bits and die cut ephemera, I also cut some from patterned papers from the Happy Blooms 6×6 pad. These were layered over the dry background with my photos added to the 2 largest tags.
These were embellished using puffy stickers, phrases cut from the Happy Blooms – Happy Place paper and sequins. I hand made a few tassels to hang from the tags to finish off the layout.
Check out this youtube video to see how it came together.
For my second layout I focused on the pink papers in this range. Using white cardstock as my base I tore a large strip of the Happy Blooms – Cottage paper and a smaller strip of the Flower Patch paper.
Using the packaging technique I added pink paint to the lower part of the cardstock and when it was dry using a stencil and a Distress ink, flowers were added over this. Then the torn papers were adhered at the top. My photos taken at my brothers wedding, were mounted on pink cardstock and attached over this.
I loved the Happy Blooms – Embroidered paper and fussy cut a few flowers from it and added french knot circles to the centre of the larger flowers. These were added around the photos and on to the stencilling. The title was added from stickers from my stash.
I hope these layouts provide some inspiration for using this Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms collection. Please share with us your creations over in our Facebook group.
Till next time x
