Part 2 – Minibook – Jen Hadfield – Chasing Adventures

Hi Magpies, Jackie here with my 2nd blogpost for this month and sharing a few more of my minibook using the lovely collection from Jen Hadfield – Chasing Adventures and labels and stamps from Elle’s Studio.

I incorporated a lot of journalling throughout the album which I typed into my computer and printed onto A4 cardstock and cut each page to fit the page protectors used, which is easier to do than having to handwrite it all.

I found that by typing up my journalling this way, I get all the details down and each page to my album is in date order, without forgetting any of the details.

Adding my typed journalling to my album is one of the last things I do when putting my album together – I find this easier and if I need to I can add extra page protectors or even remove filler pocket, to add the journalling to go with the photographs.

As you can see on most of my pages that I’ve shared I have added a brief note on the labels around some of the photographs, but the bulk of my journalling (including spelling mistakes oops) is typed up.

My album consists of various page protectors to give it a more interesting feel when you flip though it. It also includes a 3×8 introduction – which I have stamped with some detail underneath the journalling and added a label to the top.

This page had a large space at the bottom, so I added a simple cluster to it.
