Hi everybody, Emilie here with two brand-new projects! Have you checked out the Wonders collection by Paige Evans yet? The colours are so sunny that it puts me in the food for the warmer weather!

 

HELLO THERE

When choosing which products to work with I decided to go with the 12×12 paper pad, the chipboards and the flowers ephemeras.

The patterns are very bright and “busy” which can be overwhelming. Using big areas of plainer paper like the yellow one here helps balance the busier patterns.

The papers ended up playing the biggest part of the embellishments so I only needed very little amount of ephemera flowers and chipboards to finish this layout.

Sometimes less is more when it comes to making beautiful layouts!

 

MAKING EVERY MOMENT MATTER

For this layout I decided to create with the 12×12 paper pad, the chipboards, the sticker book, the puffy phrases and the flowers ephemeras.

To help me create my layout, I decided to get started with one colour: blue. I pulled everything I had in this colour from the collection.

From there I designed a grid layout which allows me to feature several patterns without being overwhelming. It also creates a strong texture.

Layering patterns, chipboards and threads is a lot a fun and very effective.

I was then able to add pops of colour through the flower ephemeras and other accents without feeling out of place.
