Paige Evans Bungalow Lane | Jo Boland
Hey there, it’s Jo here with my first projects for October using the Paige Evans Bungalow Lane collection. It has a lovely mix of autumn, craft and home icons in warm tones and blues.
Bungalow Lane scrapbook layout 1 – Life Captured
I had the idea to machine stitch around the quilt style patterned paper 12, I started it in white cotton thread, but it wasn’t very obvious. However, with the thread changed to a thicker gold thread and although it took me ages to sew, I love the outcome!
I backed this piece on white vellum and layered it over a piece of paper 15. The distressed ricrac strip has been cut from paper 23. I also cut the two word banners (One Fine Day and Wonderful) from this paper too.
The camera and title, plus the photo mat were cut from paper 24. These are raised on foam pads, with the title matted on vellum to make it stand out from the background. I embellished the layout with epoxy stickers from the collection and added a few gold ink splatters.
Scrapbook layout 2 – Trading Post
I fussy cut a couple of the teacups from paper 6 to go with the cups in the photo and popped them up on foam pads. The main patterned paper is paper 4 with paper 17 tucked under at the bottom of the page. The strips across the centre are the manufacturing strips from papers 14 and 24.
The tags are cut from paper 23 and the frame and tabs under the photo are from 49 and Market.
The page is embellished with epoxy stickers, puffy stickers from the Bungalow Lane collection. The title stickers and enamel dots from The Best Day collection by Pinkfresh Studios. I finished the layout with some gold ink and white paint splatters.
See you later in the month for a gorgeous mini-album!
