Padstow – Pinkfresh Studio – Sunshine on My Mind – Wendy Meffan

 

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here sharing my third layout for September using Pinkfresh Studio Sunshine on My Mind Collection. I have created another layout using paper tearing techniques, except this time they are horizontal!

Using  the large 12×12 Sun and Sand paper I tore two  horizontal strips from the different colours . I combined them with a strip from the 12×12 Golden Hour paper. The combination of the three colours together made the perfect back drop for my photos. Especially with the dash of yellow in my husband’s coat! I cut apart some of the 12×12 Best Summer paper and used the Best Summer Ever and Stay Close to people Who feel like Sunshine and distressed the edges of them.  I matted the photos on paper from the 6×6 pad. Having attached the photos to the layout I tucked the two cut apart pieces behind them and added the Brightly Coloured Thickers as a title.

The gorgeous tag in the Journalling bits was perfect in both colour and words so I attached it to the right of the photos. Following this I embellished this part of the layout using puffy stickers, floral ephemera , fussy cut flowers and the HLM printables for this collection.

Similarly on the other side of the layout I embellished with more floral ephemera, fussy cut flowers, puffy stickers and another printable.

I added  two more further pieces of 12×12 torn paper and to the top and bottom of the layout.

Finally I added some splatters across the the layout.
