P13 | Summer Vibes | Part 2 | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies,
I’m back to share two more layouts using P13 Summer Vibes, which has to be among the prettiest summer papers I’ve seen! If you’re planning on taking some scrapbooking supplies on holiday, this collection would be ideal. There are so many images to cut & use as embellishments, you won’t need much more!
Sun Kissed
For this layout I began by adding some paint sprinkles & drawing a thin outline border. I used a summer themed cutfile which I back filled with plain paper from the collection & placed a wreath design behind the sun shape. The photo was tucked just under the cutfile on the right.
I fussy cut some of the illustrations, they really are such lovely designs & there are so many to choose from. I used the ‘happiness’ piece to highlight the photo, tucked some leaves behind it & paired it with a flair badge.
.
To keep the layout balanced, I added more cut pieces to the lower right corner of the photo. That parakeet is so cute, as is the ice cream circle sticker! There is a sheet of word stickers in this collection, so I popped in a couple of those as well.
Finally, I added a few details to the left of the page, including these sweet boots & more ice creams.
Bliss
Once again, this page is made using lots of fussy cut details & shows that scrapbook pages can be created with ‘limited’ supplies.
The layout began with some light stencilling on some white cardstock, with a few paint sprinkles added as well. I trimmed this to fit onto the base patterned paper and added some thin washie tape to define the border.
The photo was placed just off centre, backed with two papers which I had distressed along the edges. I used a circle tag to record my journalling & added that to the left of the photo. I embellished all along the lower edge of the photo with more fussy cut images, tags & word stickers.
Using an alphabet from my stash for the title, I continued to add more ephemera so that the layout looked balanced. I finished it with a few more paint sprinkles along the lower edge.
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at these layouts, I’ve enjoyed making them with this beautiful collection.
Until next month happy scrapping everyone!
