One Canoe Two – Willow Part 2 | Jo Boland
Hey, it’s Jo back again with another couple of layouts using the One Canoe Two collection Willow. You can find my first blog post here.
My first layout is ‘Take Time to Make Your Soul Happy’. It was inspired by the quote card ‘Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat’. With that in mind I printed lots of little photos of enjoyable times in the great outdoors. I backed a piece of white cardstock on the Emerald Meadows paper and positioned the stickers, photos and die-cuts in a wreath shape on top.
I added some enamel dots and some gold splatters (Heidi Swapp Color Shine from my stash) and popped some of the elements up on foam pads to give dimension.
My second layout ‘Bude’ was inspired by the die-cut banner that says ‘this is our happy place’. My husband and I love Bude, we holiday with the boys there every year.
The background paper is Ambrose Blooms and the strip along the bottom is the branding strip from the Emerald Meadows paper used in the first layout.
I’ve used ephemera from the die-cut pack and the sticker sheet, enamel dots and the gorgeous green foam thickers that come in the collection.
I added some gold and white splatters and used bakers twine from my stash to string the photos on.
You can find all the One Canoe Two products here and the Willow collection here. I’ll be back next month with another selection of projects using the Simple Stories ‘So Happy Together’ collection.
Thanks for stopping by!
