On the Ferry – Crate Paper -Gingham Garden – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! it’s Wendy back again with a third layout this month. I’m using Crate Paper Gingham Garden Collection and I got so carried away with this gorgeous collection I created a third layout so decide to write it up. As I said before in my previous post I split the collection into half by colour and this layout is predominantly the blues and green rom the collection.

Using distress oxides i created a mixed media background and the placed the remainder of the sheet from the 12×12 In the Shade paper across the centre of the page as a background for the layout. I then machine stitched along the stripes.

I matted the photo using the 12×12 Timeless paper, and then created a large photo matt using the Paperie pack and some cut up papers from the collection. I fussy cut lots of flowers from the B side of the 12×12 In the Shade paper. i then embellished around the photo with these and some chipboard elements and puffy stickers.
