Pinkfresh Studio | Oh, What Fun! | Giselle Homer
Hi Magpies,
Here we are once more with Christmas fast approaching, are you ready?! How about building some scrapping time into your busy schedule?
This month I’m using Pinkfresh Studios Christmas collection, ‘Oh, What Fun!’ The papers are fresh and bright, plus there are lots of embellishments to choose from. For my first layout I die cut a festive branch and blended three different colours of ink onto it to create an ombré effect.
I splashed the same colour inks onto the background and glued the cut file in the middle. Plus a puffy star at the top and some gold sequins dotted around.
I added three layers behind my photo and glued it into place with a chipboard shape at the top.
I used some bauble die cuts to ‘hang’ from the branches and chose my title from a number of options in the Puffy Phrases pack.
A few more sequins to add more sparkle and a couple of embellishments below the photo finished off my layout.
For my second layout I began by cutting wide strip of patterned paper and gluing it to the lower edge of my background.
Using frames cut from one of the papers, I added three photos across the centre of the page, with a tag on the left and a die cut tree on the right.
I drew a frame around the top of the layout and added some scribbled stars.
I added a journalling tag in a cluster with die cut shapes and twine placed above the photos on the right. Plus, a few more embellishments along the top of the photos.
All that was left was to add my title and a little die cut string of Christmas lights below it.
I’ll have two more layouts to share later in the month, meantime I hope you’ll find a little time for some scrapbooking!
Till then, happy scrapping everyone!
