Oh, So Happy! Part 2.
Hello again Magpies, I’m back with a couple more layouts using Simple Stories fun collection called ‘Oh, Happy Day!’ I’ve really enjoyed using these papers and there’s still plenty left for more layouts.

My first layout uses a large cut file for the title. I backed the letters with the dark floral paper and used paler patterns for the flowers as I wanted the word to stand out.

I glued this centrally on the lower half of the page. I mounted my two photos with yellow paper and added them above the title.

Then I used plenty of stickers to add a flower border along the top of the photos. I added some enamel dots in between the stickers with a couple of hearts.

Then I glued the word sticker, plus a few more enamel dots below the cut file.

This collection has lots of tiny word stickers, which I love, so I used them to form a fun border all round the layout.
For my second layout I cut down a 12×12 piece of white cardstock and glued it over a sheet of patterned paper to make a frame. I stamped some flowers and added some sprinkles of inks in colours to match the papers.

Then I die cut a row of hearts which I stitched into place – my first attempt at using a sewing machine for a layout. I need more practise! I backed the photo with 3 pieces of patterned paper and glued it slightly to the left of centre.

Then I added a title from my own stash and the smaller words are puffy stickers from Pinkfresh Studios.

I finished off the layout by adding a cute llama sticker and a couple more stickers above the photo.

So, that’s it from me for June, see you next month, same place same time! Until then, happy scrapping!
