Oh Happy Day! – Simple Stories – Remember – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here sharing my third layout using Simple Stories Remember Collection. I am so in love with this gorgeous collection, I have really enjoyed using it.

When I saw the 12×12 Always Remember paper i knew it would be perfect to have as a background. As I wanted to use three photos I made them just over 2″ square ( 2 up with borders) on the selphy. I used my craft knife and cut around the Forever and Ever tab and the doily on the bottom right of the page. I was then able to tuck my photos into the slits and attached to the background paper.  Then I  embellished them using Floral Bits and Pieces and card stock stickers.

A friend gave me the Oh Happy Day rubon which was just perfect for the layout and also the font and shape of the lettering. This  came from 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Moonlit Garden collection.

I fussy cut the Typewriter from the 2×2/4×4 12×12 Elements sheet and positioned it to the left of the photos. i then added more floral Bits and pieces around it to embellish. One again this layout came together quite quickly due to the ease of all the colour and elements of the collection.
