NY Revisited using Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection
Hi Magpies, Jackie here with a few layouts to share using Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers collection. I’ve gone back to using some photographs from my New York visit earlier this year.
I mainly used the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection 12×12 pad which has 2 sheets of each design.
So me begin ….
The Streets of NYC
I had the idea to added some smaller size photographs to my page of various views of the streets of New York, I had done similar on this post , but chose a selection that I hadn’t used.
Pulling 3 of the papers out of the pad, I trimmed each down to 12×6 and torn the bottom edges of each paper and adhered to the background paper. Adding the photographs to the sides of the page, leaving a space in the middle to add the large initials that I cut with my silhouette. A couple of the photographs I added 3D foam pads underneath to give them more definition.
I added some clustered to the page by cutting out 3 different cameras from the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers collection – Explore paper, a circle cut from the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection 6×6 pad as well as some wood veneer from my stash and some of the MAMBI puffy stickers.
I also added extra detail to the shipping tag by embossing it with the camera embossing folder from Amy Tangerine Plus One collection.
For part of the title I used Jillibean Soup Mini Alpha, which worked well with this page, as I had stamped the map from the stamp set in orange and added it to the page.
Let’s Eat
For my 2nd layout, I used a silhouette cut file and back some of the cut out shapes with patterned papers from the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection 6×6 pad.
I layered the photograph with a few sheets from the 6×6 pad, adding a punched border to the yellow paper to add some texture and a HLM flair badge.
Behind the photograph I added my journalling to the card and attached a mini peg so that it could be easier pulled up.
For the title I used a mixture of Amy Tangerine and Dear Lizzy Thickers as well as Jillibean soup mini alphas.
Where We Stand
I started this page by inking and distressing the background paper, I used the Heidi Swapp Stencil, which includes two stencils dots and plus signs. I also had the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection – Stamp set that included the same ‘plus sign’ design, which I stamped onto the background using gold ink. From my stash I found 3 chipboard frame to use as a base for my photograph, to which I added a selection of punched circles from the Amy Tangerine – Finders Keepers Collection 6×6 pad in various sizes. I then layered the photograph on 2 sheets from the 6×6 pad and a piece of acetate from the Dear Lizzy – Documentary Collection. The photographs was then added over the top of the 3 frame.
I used the Jillibean Soup mini Alphas to add the area where, when the photograph was taken and used the Thickers as my main title across the bottom of the page.
The ‘This Way to Fun’ stickers is from Basic Grey -Sunkissed- stickers, I also added some MAMBI puffy stickers.
Thats all from me for this month, I hope you like how I’ve used this collection.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, have fun and be safe.
