NSD 2020 Challenge #8 | White Space | Giselle Homer
Hello Magpies,
It’s 9pm and time for challenge number 8, I hope you’ve all been enjoying our challenges and fun so far. My National Scrapbooking Day challenge is to make a layout using some white space. For clarity, the term ‘white space’ simply means leaving an area of your design with no embellishments. It need not be white either, mine has grey stripes!
Here is my page, I’ve left a large area in the triangle on the left embellishment free. I added the title just to break it up a bit but essentially there’s quite a bit white space!
You can interpret the challenge in any way you like; a layout, a greetings card, a traveller’s notebook page, anything goes.
For your chance to win 1,000 Magpie points – that’s £10 to spend in the shop – add your entries to the corresponding album on our Facebook Chat & Inspiration Group. For each challenge you enter, you will be added into a grand prize draw to win 3,000 magpie points, so the more challenges you make the more chances you have to win!
All entries close at midnight on the 17th May 2020, so you have plenty of time to get scrapbooking.
I’m really looking forward to seeing all your entries and how you put your own spin on them.
