NSD 2020 | Challenge #4 | Scraplift | Rachel Millington
Hey Magpies! It’s 10am and here’s the next challenge for you. It’s a scraplift this time. My first monthly blog post went live this morning and you can see it here. What I want you to do is simply scraplift one of the layouts on there. They’re both very simple and easy designs to copy. Here’s the scraplift I did of one of my own LO’s! I used an older Heidi Swapp collection for this LO, Color Fresh, the bright yellow sheet was perfect for this story about me getting some daffodils for my birthday this year.
You can pick either layout or do one of each, or even use both LO’s as inspiration and use something from each. A scraplift can be almost a copy, or just use one little thing in the LO as inspiration, it’s up to you. Sometimes I’ve started out lifting a LO and at the end I realise I’ve totally gone off on my own way and it looks nothing like the original at all. But it was a start point and it got me scrapping and that’s always good!
To be in with the chance of winning 1000 magpie points, that’s £10 to spend in store, just upload your entries to the corresponding album in our Facebook Chat & Inspiration Group. I will come back here and add in a link to the album when I have created it, after the challenge has gone live. Here you go – link to gallery.
Each challenge you enter, you’ll be added into a grand prize draw to win 3000 magpie points, that’s 30 quids worth! The more entries, the more chances you have to win. You may enter a challenge more than once if you like, so feel free to scraplift both of my LO’s and get two entries in this challenge and two entries for the grand prize draw. You can’t use the same LO to enter different challenges though, you can only use a LO for one challenge.
Entries close at midnight on the 17th May 2020 so there’s plenty of time to get creating. Your entry must be uploaded to the correct album before that time.
Have a great weekend Magpies – happy national scrapbooking day and good luck! xXx
