North Yorkshire – Pocket Scrapbooking – Cocoa Vanilla Studio
Hello Magpies, Amy here and today I am sharing another pocket scrapbooking layout in my travel album. You may recall I have made similar layouts in the past. We are trying to visit all the counties in England, and this one documents our 15th county of North Yorkshire on our road trip last summer.
North Yorkshire
For this album I am using Design A of Becky Higgins Project Life page protectors.
I don’t know if you have noticed but the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Heart & Home collection matches perfectly with their new Great Escape collection. This was a revelation to me, and I have used a mix of these two collections in this double sided layout.
On the front side I made my title 6×4 pocket. This used two patterned papers, the cute minivan from the Great Escape ephemera pack and two different alphas, the Doodlebug Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers in Coral and the black Doodlebug Abigail alphas.
I matted some of my photos on patterned paper and other photos I used the complete size of the pocket. I added word stickers to the photos and then added some of the enamel stars. The ‘adventure awaits’ card was cut from the Great Escape Wild Life paper. The county 15 card is from the Heart & Home Gather paper. Having these two 3×4 cards next to each other really shows how great the collections work together.
I repeated the same process on the reverse of the pocket pages. I added printed journalling to the top right 6×4 pocket. The postcard that we sent home sites in the lower 6×4 pocket.
I hope this might have inspired you to either 1) give pocket scrapbooking a go. It is a great way to add lots of photos and document your memories or 2) combine some collections to stretch your stash.
Happy Scrapping,
