Night Night by Pebbles
Hey there Magpies! Niki here today with five layouts to share using the Night Night collection by Pebbles. Within Night Night there are boy themed products and girl themed products. I went for all the boy ones for obvious reasons! But the girly stuff is really lovely too. The collection as a whole is a baby collection so it is quite themed overall, but it would be possible to use some of the papers and embellishments for other things too – within the boy products are a lot of nautical themed embellishments and motifs. The papers themselves aren’t overly themed and there is a nice mix of baby blue, aqua and navy, so it’s definitely not all baby blue and teddy bears. I could mix lots of this in with other collections and come up with layouts that aren’t baby themed at all, but as I have the perfect excuse at the moment, I went for the full 0n baby themed stuff!
For my first layout I’ve used a scan picture to ‘announce’ that our new baby is going to be a boy. The journaling card ‘it’s a boy’ is obviously perfect for this layout and I’ve also made a giant title ‘BOY’ with an outline cut file alphabet, which I’ve then back filled with different papers from the collection.
For my ‘Dream Big’ layout I used a cut file from the Silhouette Store to make the cloud and title which I backfilled. I then added all the stars and clouds embellishments together with the really cute ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ journaling card.
For ‘Oh Boy’ I embraced the nautical theme to document the story of when my little girl realised our new baby was going to be a boy…she wasn’t too impressed!
For ‘Little One’ I created a simple paper pieced elephant out of some of the papers and added hand stitching around the edges. The elephant was quite big so I kept the rest of the layout simple and minimal.
And finally, for ‘Hello Buddy’ I used up a few of the lovely phrase Thickers that came with the collection…they are silver and have lots of different fonts with different phrases, they really are lovely and there are so many different things on there that there is bound to be something to suit everyone.
