Never Give Up | Pretty Little Studio Good Vibrations | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, I just can’t get enough of Pretty Little Studio so I’m back using another collection: Good Vibrations. My layout begins with two sheets of the ‘Never Better’ patterned paper, using a craft knife & a ruler I cut triangles slightly smaller than the design from one piece of the patterned paper then added them to the second piece of the same patterned paper.

On the outer frame I placed white triangles on top of white triangles using foam tape, on the inner frame I added coloured triangles on top of white triangles. It’s a little tricky to explain but hopefully you will be able to see what I mean in the photographs, I think it adds some great depth to my page.

Next I added my square photo, I sized it so it would fit nicely within the four central squares but leave a slight gap so that the edges of the triangles would poke through, again I used foam tape. I chose my title from the ‘Seize the Day Die Cut’ pack, I thought it was rather apt as really I should give up, football is a young persons game!

I added more of the die cuts going from top left to bottom right of my layout to create the diagonal, this helps draw the eye across the page. Then I printed my journalling & cut it into strips tucking them underneath my photo.

To finish, like always I added some sparkle plus a few dots of black Nuvo Drops. Pretty Little Studio is such a wonderful brand & if you haven’t yet got your hands on any of it I would highly recommend that you do so.
