Netball Mad | Pretty Little Studio You Are My Sunshine | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, great to be back using the ‘You Are My Sunshine’ collection from Pretty Little Studio, I have thoroughly enjoyed creating with it! Today’s layout started with the pennants cut apart sheet, once fussy cut I arranged them onto my background as if they were strung across the page.

I added a little dot of glue to each pennant to hold them in place whilst I machined stitched in black thread along the top edge, thus allowing each pennant to raise up like it would do in the wind. Next, I placed my photo in the centre of my page, layered with off cuts of patterned paper from the same collection.

I then fussy cut clouds from the ‘Watch the Clouds‘ patterned paper & placed them throughout my layout using a combination of glue & foam pads. Followed by the butterflies from the ‘Butterfly Wings die cuts‘, making sure to only add glue to the body of the butterflies so that their wings could be folded up to create depth.

To finish, I added my title & a spattering of distress oxide sprays in co-ordinating colours. The cut apart sheets are a great addition to any collection & at only £1 per sheet great value for money too.
