More Some Days Pinkfresh Studio | Julie Taylor

Hi Magpies, Julie back again today, sharing 2 more layouts using the lovely Pinkfresh Studio Some Days.

I dug out some old embossing folders for this layout & did a bit of embossing on some white cardstock, which I then inked, in colours to match the collection.

I drew a large circle, onto some scrap paper & split it into unequal segments. I then transferred these onto some of the patterned papers & embossed cardstock. I distressed & inked the edges & laid them back onto a sheet of white cardstock to which I’d added some ink, stencilling & white splatters & did some messy black sewing around the edge of the circle.

I adhered my photo strip of 5 photos, to the left hand side & added a paper cluster behind the larger 6th photo, raising it on foam pads for dimension.

I added bits out the embellishment packs along with a black die cut & some red twine for added texture.

The title, on this layout, comes from the other new Pinkfresh Studio collection, Keeping It Real & I love the pop of red it adds.

Carbucks Date

Ive added my 2nd layout to the aptly named ‘one more cup’ paper & done a layout about my coffee dates with fellow team member Jackie. Lockdown forced us to improvise & we’d sit, in our own cars, parked up on a carpark, drinking coffees, chatting through the open windows!!!

I added one of the journalling bits envelopes & used that as the base of my paper cluster, adding all the other ephemera off it or onto it. I built all this up, sticking it together before removing it, as one, & adding some circle stencilling around the edges.

I glued the cluster in place & added a few bits of stamping. I then went to town adding all the lovely coffee inspired embellishments & found quite a few in this collection.

I purposely keep yellow off this layout, to make it different to my others ones & luckily all the coffee bits had no yellow on them!!! My title fitted perfectly into the space at the top of the paper using the mini puffy alphabet stickers.

I’ve really loved playing with this collection & have lots left over to make more layouts.
