More of This Please! – American Crafts – Maggie Holmes – Forever Fields – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here, sharing my second layout for December and this month I’m using American Crafts Maggie Holmes Forever Fields Collection. I love all the pink and greens in the collection.

I wanted to show all the gorgeous papers in the collection on this layout so I used several papers from the 6×8 paper pad. I cut them in to varying sized rectangles and positioned them on the page. I used three photos in a strip and matted them in another one of the papers. I attached this over the top layer of papers. I fussy cut some more flowers from one of the floral papers and used some floral ephemera to create a cluster to the right of the photos. I also added some puffy stickers and card stock stickers.

I fussy cut three tags from the 6×8 paper pad and tucked them under the photo strip. I also created another floral cluster to the right of the photos, and again added more puffy stickers to embellish. I positioned the ‘Love’ card stock sticker over the top of the photos as a title. I threaded waxed string through the tags.

I created three more tags using one of the fussy cut ones as a template. I used stickers from the sticker book which I stuck to white card stock (to make them thicker) I then fussy cut them and positioned them over the tags and added twine.

Finally I stencilled over the layout using distress oxides. I used a fine liner to outline some of the stencilling to bring out the detail.
