More Fun with Crates All Heart
Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 2 more layouts using Crate Papers All Heart collection.
NOPE
I first started by adding some oxide ink, to my background, using the lovely colour Seedless Preserves & added lots of splatters & circles, inked through a stencil & drawn round after & a few stamped words from the stamp set, all over the background. I cut my cut file quite big & backed it, with papers from the 6×8 pad & added my photo inside the ‘O’.
I then added a few ripped pieces of wash tape & stitched them in place to add the rest of my title to.
I ripped & distressed a small piece, top & bottom of the layout & backed with Be You paper. A few bits of ephemera & some corner stitching finished off the layout nicely.
You Got This Girl
For this layout I wanted to add a border around the edge & auditioned a few of the patterned papers but decided to make my own, so I added some of the wash tape all around the edge of a sheet of cardstock & then sewed another piece of cardstock on top.
Again I added a bit of mixed media, to the background paper & then cut 8 4×4 pieces & distressed the edges, stitched around them & added them to the centre of my layout in a haphazard way. I put a couple of tags, from the ephemera pack, up the top & my photos along the centre line, tucking in bits & pieces of ephemera, going down the page. The finishing touch was 3 different coloured threads, going top to bottom of the layout which I stapled into place.
