Monthly Challenge – September 2021 – Recipe Challenge – Wendy Meffan

Hey Magpies! It’s Wendy here with the September challenge which is a recipe challenge to use all the items listed  below on your layouts and post them in the album on the Hey Little Magpie Chat and Inspiration Facebook Page

I chose to use Paige Evans Wonders Collection. Initially I made a mixed media background using Distress Oxides, then I cut three strips of different coloured papers and distressed the edges and then sewed them to the page. I fussy cut some of the mandalas from the collection. I then made the HOLIDAY title from another page by making squares of paper and cutting the letters from each square. Finally I added some ink splatters and a few chipboard stickers.

Sam also produced a gorgeous layout as another example for the challenge, using the Simple Vintage Great Escapes collection by Simple Stories…

You have until midnight on September 30th to create your layout and upload it to our Hey Little Magpie Chat and Inspiration group on Facebook. We will choose a winner at random and 1,000 Magpie points will be added to their Hey Little Magpie account. Please upload your creations into the album called September 2021 Monthly Challenge.
