Mixing it up with Heidi Swapp 2 | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing another 2 layouts using a mix up of Heidi Swapp collections available in store.

Moment Unique

I chose to do my first layout on the gorgeous Mirage paper, from the carefree collection, I thought it went with the photos perfectly. I added 3 small photos, across the top & added some clusters behind.

I cut my title, out of white cardstock & added some inks to give it some colour. I machine stitched some messy lines, across the middle & added my title on top with a couple of tags & attached twine to the side & back.

I put my bottom photo cluster to the right so as to show off the patterned paper & built up the cluster with die cuts, vellum pieces & an exclusive HLM flair badge.

EPIC

For my second layout I had a 12×12 photo printed & added my clusters on the right, vertically. This is a great way to add impact to your albums & you can use any photo as long as it has some ‘white’ space (somewhere without important subjects on)

I added some machine stitching to 2 corners & built my large cluster, vertically, on the right of the photo, adding lots of ephemera & foam pads, to add dimension. I glued down some buttons & sewed twine through & around them, looping down the page.
