Mixing Dear Lizzy | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there magpies, Sheena here again x
For my post today I’m using a mix of 2 Dear Lizzy ranges – It’s All Good and She’s Magic. Both these ranges are full of soft spring/ summer colours and a array of small patterns totally suited to lots of different scrapbook pages.
Tea.
Using It’s All Good – Good Times patterned paper as my base I then cut out frames from She’s Magic – Best Friends paper to use to create my design. I laid the frames pointing in different directions across the patterned paper till I was happy with how they looked. I printed my 3 photos to fit on to the frames from a recent trip to Chatsworth House for afternoon tea.
Embellishing is always the fun part for me so I chose die cuts, stickers, fussy cut flowers and painted wood veneer to layer up on the frames and the photos all around the theme of afternoon tea. I even got a little journalling in on one of the frames and the page still has loads of white space.
Scrappy Girls.
I had this photo from a Crafty Weekend away already printed and I noticed the colours were perfect for these ranges.
For my second page I used It’s All Good – Bloomed paper as my base with its candy stripe. I cut a wreath from white cardstock on my Silhouette. I fussy cut lots of flowers from the She’s Magic – Magic paper, both the 12×12 and 6×8 from the paper pad. There are also some beautiful iridescent flower die cuts in the pack too which I also used. I grouped the flowers adding them on foam pads for depth.
I added the It’s All Good – Layered sticker balloons to one side as they are a great colour match and my title was made using the It’s All Good – gold puffy alpha Thickers. All finished off with a sprinkle of gold mist.
There is plenty of both these ranges available in the shop & we would love you to share with us on our FB group your recent creations.
Till next time x
