Mixing Dear Lizzy Again | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
For this post I am continuing to create with a mix of 2 recent collections by Dear Lizzy – She’s Magic and It’s all Good. The colours go so well together it makes them so easy to mix together when you are scrapping.
Sweetness Everywhere.
For my first page featuring my Daughter eating my birthday breakfast a good few years ago, I used She’s Magic – Across the Sea paper as my base. I took 3 patterned papers taken from both ranges which complimented my colour ways and tore the lower edge of each. I added my 2 photos then 2 frames and a journaling card from She’s Magic range.
I used It’s All Good die cut ephemera, layered stickers and fussy cut peaches from the Peachy Keen paper to create a embellishment cluster across the page and also above the photo featuring all the fruity images I could find. I used foam pads to add dimension and layered them all.
Smile.
For my second layout I used She’s Magic – Kind Heart paper as the base. Using a stencil and Distress Oxides I added some colour over the stripes on the patterned paper to break up the solid colour. Then I grabbed the She’s Magic polaroid frames and started layering them in 2 places on the paper.
I used die cuts from both rages to layer under my photo and the frames. Then I added chipboard and sticker embellishments, tickets and puffy hearts before adding my journalling.
I hope you these pages help inspire you to mix your collections when you scrapbook. Please share with us your creations over on our FB group.
Till next time x
